Binary Options Fraud Update

As reported by the Israeli newspapers Haaretz and the Times of Israel, Israel banned all Binary Options Trading. The ban not only makes Binary Options Trading illegal in Israel, but forbids companies with a presence in Israel from marketing Binary Options Trading.

The move by Israel is the latest salvo in the war on the Binary Options industry. Israel’s move to ban the entire Binary Options industry comes as no surprise amid a crackdown in the United States, Canada and Australia on Binary Options Fraud. Recently, the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested a Binary Options company executive for various crimes related to Binary Options Fraud as she arrived in the United States from Israel.

Binary Options traders are under scrutiny from a variety of angles; administrative, civil and criminal. On the Administrative and Civil side, the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) are pursuing Binary Options traders suspected of committing violations. On the criminal side, as reported above, law enforcement in the United States and Israel is actively pursuing violators.

Over the past several years, thousands of retirees have reported losing their life savings to Binary Options traders falsely promising unrealistic results. Many of these retirees are located in the United States, Canada, Britain and Australia. While some of these companies have ties to Israel and the United States, Binary Options Trading companies are also located in Cyprus, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and even some African countries.

If you are an individual facing allegations of illegal Binary Options activity, it is important that you have an attorney and law firm that understand the complex nature of the allegations.
