Ms. Johnson joined Ray & Bishop in 2013, after distinguishing herself as a superior advocate throughout her career at Chapman University School of Law. She has handled administrative matters before the Department of Insurance, Department of Social Services, Board of Registered Nursing, Board of Accountancy, Medical Board, as well as termination review board hearings for insurance companies and Office of Professional Responsibility hearings before the IRS.
As a law student, Ms. Johnson was recognized by Chapman University as the most successful oral advocate in school history. She won brief-writing and advocacy awards at nationwide competitions in 2012 and 2013, including the fourth-best brief in the nation at the Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. in 2013. Ms. Johnson served as an instructor at JSerra High School in the selective Prelaw Magnet Program and coaches the mock trial team.
Ms. Johnson received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to becoming an attorney, she taught college preparatory classes for the Fresno Unified School District, and worked at an elementary school in Cusco, Peru, where she also taught a class designed to help local merchants improve their command of English.
